 SYNTHETIC
RUTILE (TITANIA)
Well known, first time produced diamond imitation. Grown by especially
modified flame fusion method. Always has some yellowish tint.

2.62 2.90; H 6 - 6.5; D 4.23 4.44. Cutting angles: Pavilion
37 40°; Crown 30 40°. Cur stones need the orientation, which
avoids the strong biaxial effect.
STRONTIUM
TITANITE
Flame fusion grown diamond imitation. Always comes with tint, from
yellowish to brown.
