Synthetic Emerald
Since the appearance of the Synthetic Emerald on the market, many consumers asked about the lighter material with bluish shade, which may imitate the Columbian Emerald.

Now we have it. Material comes in thinner (4-6 mm) and thicker (7 and up) slabs without any sharp edges.

We believe this material will become very popular at the jewelry market in a very short time.

The Hydrothermal Beryl with color of the best Paraiba Tourmaline.
Gemological Kits
We produced the most complete ever Gemological Kits of the Laboratory Grown Diamond Imitations. They include 12 round 6.5 mm brilliants made
from:
- Flame Fusion Corundum
- Pulled Corundum
- YAG
- Flame Fusion Spinel
- CZ stabilized with Yttrium Oxide
- CZ stabilized with Calcium Oxide
- Hydrothermal Quartz
- GGG
- Rutile
- Strontium Titanite
- Lithium Tantalite
- Lithium Niobite
  Also, the Kit contains small Moissanite crystal created by J.A. Lely technology. We can put instead the Charles & Colvard Moissanite Cut Stone, in size chosen upon your request for an additional cost. Also, the Kit contains 2 empty jars which may be used for synthetic and natural diamond stones in size chosen upon your request for an additional cost. The price of the basic Kit is $220.00 plus $7.00 for the Priority Mail shipment.

Synthetic Rutile ("Titania")
The first laboratory created Diamond simulant with the R.I. - 2.62 – 2.90, which was superseded from the market by Cubic Zirconia. It is still the best Diamond imitation with the most spectacular multicolor dispersion. Now produced rarely.

Strontium Titanite
The older well-known Diamond simulant with R.I. – 2.41 and isotropic, same as Diamond. It was a very popular Diamond imitation before CZ appearance on the market. Now produced rarely.

Czochralski Pulled Ruby
At last, after many years of absence on the market again this nice, really good in color Ruby, which permits to cut unlimited in size stones.

Flux Garnets
New on the market materials: a wide selection of multicolor flux grown Garnets: GGG (gadolinium -gallium garnet), EGG (europium-gallium garnet), SGG (samarium-gallium garnet) YIG (yttrium-iron garnet). The materials produced by one scientific institute of physics in Siberia. These garnets come as small well-developed crystals from 1-2 to 30-40 gr. They are growing for the microwaves' technology and optical-magnetic needs. The main products grown by the institute for these needs are the Ferro-garnets; other materials were received relatively in the process of scientific research. Due to magic-bright and dense colors, also high enough refraction indexes, the cut stones from these materials would be tremendous, we expect.

The prices are $3.50/Car. if you buy up to 50 Car., $3.00/Car. for 50-100 Car., and $2.75 for quantities more then 100 Car.
Also 10% less for colorless GGG and black YIG.

Below you can see the list of these materials (shown the elements effected the colors):

1.GGG colorless;
2.GGG red - pomegranate (Mn);
3.EGG lilac - amethyst (Nd);
4.EGG green - chrysolite (Cr);
5.GGG green - emerald (?);
6.GGG bluish-green - green zircon (?);
7.GGG blue - indigo (Co, Ti);
7a.GGG greenish blue (?)
8.GGG bicolor and tricolor crystals - red, green, blue, purple combinations (?);
9.GGG red + blue, watermelon tourmaline alike (?);
10.EGG greenish-yellow - peridot (Co);
11.SGG yellow - yellow topaz (no additional metals);
12.SGG yellow - amber, brandy (Fe);
13.YIG black (no additional metals

Synthetic Moissanite Gemological Samples
The new material for gemologists, scientists and collectors - small crystals of Moissanite (Silicon Carbide), growing by a new technology at one scientific laboratory in Russia. We expect the appearance of same crystals, big enough for industrial production of cut stones, in the nearest future.

 Here are some characteristics of these crystals' types and prices:

1.Green and yellow hexagonal flat crystals, 4 - 8 mm wide, weight .25 - 1.20 Car. each. Price - $12.00/Car.
2.Green and yellow hexagonal plates, 5 - 10 mm wide, weight .25 - .55 Car. each. Price - $10.00/Car.
3.Hexagonal well developed isometric green crystals (1 - 2 mm in all dimensions) and such crystals clusters (2 - 3 mm),      weight .05 - .20 Car. each. Price - $10.00/Car.

Tanzanion
New on the market laboratory created pulled Forsterite named TANZANION. It is similar to Tanzanite both visually and in main physical properties, but is more durable inhardness and is not as fragile.

According to Mary L. Johnson and Shane F. McClure "…synthetic Forsterite far more convincing as a Tanzanite simulant than any we have seen before." (Gems & Gemology, Summer 1999). Morion Company carries Tanzanion rough materials, also cut stones of finest quality. Because of biaxial optic character and strong pleochroism the cut stones show violet, purple and blue colors.

Rough Tanzanion sold at the following prices: purchase of less then 100 Car. - $5.50/Car.; 100-500   Car. - 4.50/Car.;   500 Car. and up - 3.75/Car.
  The base price of the Tanzanion cut stones is $32.00/Carat.
  The following quantity discounts are applicable:
  $1,000 - $2,500 purchase 5%;
  $2,500 - $5,000 purchase 10%;
  $5,000 - $10,000 purchase 17%;
  $10,000 or above purchase 25%.

  All main cut stone shapes and sizes are available. All stones are calibrated

Polymer-impregnated multicolored opals
Polymer-impregnated multicolored opals have a wide range of body colors (13-15) and show play-of color. The main colors are blue, green, red, orange, pink and white. The chemical composition is: silica - 70-80%; polymer - 20-30%.
